Michael’s Restaurant is owned and operated by the third generation of the Michael family entrepreneurs, Gaye & Susie. Gaye and Susie have been working at Michael’s for over 50 years as the head chef and chief accountant, respectively.

      Michael’s prides itself on offering excellent service due to its well-trained and experienced wait and bar staff. Our headwaiter, Mr. Jason Burns, has been with us for 18 consecutive years, starting as a bus boy at the age of 14. Aside from Jason, we also take great joy in employing Mrs. Susie Dale and Mr. Tony Amman. Both have worked in the food & beverage industry for many years and have extensive experience working in the Michael’s system also.

      Our experienced bar staff includes head bartender, Mr. Dan Albright, and the young Kathleen Forhan. Dan has been a loyal Michael’s employee for over 15 years and boasts a second-to-none bartending education. Kathleen has been with Michael’s for over three years and is one of the favorites among returning customers.

      Our kitchen is managed under the care of head chef and owner, Gaye Michael. Gaye has enjoyed cooking almost his entire life, as he was trained in his late teens by the famous St. Louis chef, Mr. Edgar Mason. Next to Gaye in the kitchen stands long time employee Cory Kohlbrecher. Cory has many years of experience cooking and is very articulate while preparing our dishes. He has been a chef since he was 16 years old and has been working along side Gaye at Michael’s for 9 years.
